The Sacred Heart Primary School is a very active place to be. Our school promotes the holistic development of the children in our care. Sport and participation are an important part in this development so we place a strong emphasis on physical activity. Some of the sports and active pursuits we take part in include gaelic football, hurling, camogie, soccer, badminton, tennis, swimming, athletics, chess and dancing. Our teams take part in the Cumann na mBunscoil Hurling, Football and Camogie competitions as well as the FAI Ribena Cup. All children engage in physical activity weekly during PE lessons. We have a very well equipped sports hall and during the fine weather we are lucky enough to have lots of well maintained outside space for our children to play in.
