The School Completion Programme was introduced to the Sacred Heart Primary School in June 2007. This programme aims to encourage children to remain in school and engage in school activities. It does this by offering support to young people to become more involved in their education and their school life. The Programme works with other agencies and groups who can support the young person. It offers positive supports in school so that the young person can get the best from their education. School Completion influences, in a positive way policies relating to the prevention of early school leaving in the education system. Our School Completion Programme strives to use a "Whole School Approach". This means that every young person attending our school will be invited to participate in School Completion on some level, whether it is from the Birthday Card Scheme to the Copping On Programme.
